Meet The Band

Taylor Lane - Vocals

Deriving from NY’s Southern Tier, Taylor has been singing for over 35 years, making friends and fans along the way. Widely celebrated as one of WNY’s most notable singers, Taylor joined the Love Underground in 2023 and transformed the band. Taylor has experience working alongside notable musicians include Kayleigh Baker, Ed Wyner, and Dani Moze. Taylor’s stage presence is unparalleled in the way she connects with the audience and makes them feel a part of the band.

As a founding member of the group in 2021, Sal has been a key contributor to the signature sound of TLU, following the success of Buffalo band, Fluse. Some of Sal’s influences include Django Reinhardt, Steely Dan, and B.B King. You can hear these tones throughout Sal’s playing style, whether it be on stage with TLU, or on stage at his local church where he shreds every Sunday morning. Sal carries the band with his never ending musical intellect and never shies away from a new challenge.

Mark Woodworth - Bass/Vocals

If you've ever wondered what would happen if the Niagara River learned to slap bass, look no further than Mark, the electric‑bass powerhouse fueling The Love Underground. Raised on a steady diet of funk grit, and bird watching, Mark is the band's secret weapon-and its not‑so‑secret comedic relief. Mark has played with a variety of bands including Fluse and recently organized and performed a Sade tribute show at The Cave in 2025. Mark holds us down and makes the low end feel like home.

Natalie Picarazzi - Drums/Vocals

Nat has been playing drums and percussion for over 20 years. in 2020, she moved from Albany to Buffalo where she joined several bands including Kiss Me Slow, and released an EP with the original band Hip Monarch. Nat joined The Love Underground in February of 2024, adding her own spin on the covered classics. Her taste in music is driven by a classic rock base, with alternative and indie feels. She draws influence from Chad Smith (RHCP), Karen Carpenter, and Lucy Ritter. Additionally, her older brother Jeff (Glass Pony) was and continues to be one of her biggest inspirations. Nat’s played with Spud, Color Cult, The Mookie’s, Ian Mcuen, Rattlesnake Jake, Jess and the Mess, Sasha Fleet, The Snake Oil Serenaders, making appearances at Dyke Nights, and the Halloween festival, Spud n’ Guts. Nat is thrilled to be a part of The Love Underground and is looking forward to more good times and tasty jams!
